Colby Brick Award

Awarded annually at Alumni Reunion Weekend to three to five recipients who are members of the Colby family, not necessarily alumni, who have demonstrated outstanding loyalty to the College through consistent and dedicated service in its behalf. The recipients are determined by the Awards Committee of the Alumni Council. Nominations come to the committee from the alumni body at large, from a nomination form placed in Colby magazine, and from the development and alumni relations staff. The Office of Alumni Relations prepares background information on all candidates for the committee. Preliminary review of candidates is made at the January and June meetings, and final selection is made at the fall meeting of the Committee. The award is a miniature brick, mounted on a wooden stand with an engraved plaque, and a citation. Colby Brick Award Recipients
