Edson V. Mitchell Distinguished Service Award

This award is presented periodically, but not necessarily annually, during Reunion Weekend to an alumnus or alumna within 25 years of graduation for extraordinary service to Colby as demonstrated by sustained dedication to and leadership in the support of the College and the achievement of its missions and goals.

Nominations come to the committee from the alumni body at large via a nomination form in Colby magazine, from the Colby Web site, and from the development and alumni relations staff.

The award is a Colby captain's chair, with an engraved plaque, and a citation.
