Admissions Volunteers Alumni admissions representatives provide an invaluable service to the Admissions Office by promoting Colby in their area and at college fairs and by conducting local interviews for students applying to the College. Take part in Colby's future by recruiting bright, involved, and interesting students. If you are interested in serving as an admissions volunteer, contact Janice Kassman, special assistant to the president for external affairs, at jjkasma@colby.edu. Alumni Council Volunteers If you are interested in becoming an Alumni Council volunteer, contact Meg Bernier '81, acting director of alumni relations, at mbernier@colby.edu. Alumni Fund Volunteers For information about becoming an Alumni Fund volunteer, contact the Office of Annual Giving at annual@colby.edu. Alumni Profiles The Office of Career Services has begun to place profiles of young alumni in the networking section of Colby's Web site. If you think your experience might be helpful for students to read about and you graduated from Colby in the past five years, please contact the Office of Career Services at career@colby.edu. Career Mentoring If you would like to volunteer as a resource to help students learn about your career field, your Colby experience, and what you did with your major, please go to the Alumni Directory and sign on as a mentor. When students search the directory, you will be earmarked as a volunteer mentor. Be sure that Colby has your current home and work information so that students looking for information about your field know where to find you. Enter new contact information using the Update/Modify Your Directory Listing feature. For more information please contact the Alumni Relations Office at alumni@colby.edu. Career Services Volunteers If you would like to volunteer as a resource to help students with possible job opportunities, or if you are willing to come to campus to speak with current students about your career field, please contact the Office of Career Services at career@colby.edu. Club Volunteers Colby Clubs hold interesting and valuable events for alumni, which offer the opportunity to reconnect to the College and to fellow alumni. If you think it would be fun to help organize a lecture with Charlie Bassett, a cruise on Boston Harbor, a night at a Broadway show, or any number of other fun events, contact Meg Bernier '81, acting director of alumni relations, at mbernier@colby.edu.
