Parents are an important part of the Colby community, and all parents of current students and alumni are members of the Parents Association. As association members, parents receive the monthly electronic parent newsletter Parents Out of the Blue and the quarterly Colby magazine.
The College encourages and appreciates parent involvement through:
- support of athletic programs, the arts, and student performances
- sponsorship of student intern and career opportunities
- volunteering to make welcome calls to new families
- financial contributions through the Colby Fund for Parents
