Colby is conveniently situated within a mile of Interstate 95 (exits 127 and 130). If you wish to take a more leisurely ride or stop along the way, you also may take coastal Route 1.

Students, faculty, and staff can join Zipcar for only $35 a year. Zipcars are rental cars kept in the Roberts Building parking lot on campus. Your student can reserve a car online at any time. Rates include gas, insurance, and 180 miles per day. Members ages 18-20 can use the Zipcars based on campus. Members ages 21 or above also have access to thousands of Zipcars around Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, London, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver.
