Gary Green’s photographs of the New York music scene from 1976 to 1986 are on exhibit in Italy at the Urbanautica Institute. The Institute, which collaborates with authors and organizations around the world, presents photography through exhibits, books, reviews, workshops, and lectures. In the accompanying text, Green describes this time in New York as unique, saying there was “a common angst and enormous artistic energy.”
