WATERVILLE, Maine — Colby College junior midfielder Andrew Meisel (Newtown/Newtown, Conn.), who led the Mules with four assists, was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Second Team All-Conference squad on Thursday.
Meisel was second on the Mules in scoring with three goals and four assists for 10 points in leading Colby to a 7-7-1 record and a third straight trip to the conference playoffs. Colby had never been to the league playoffs before Meisel’s arrival, but has made it in his first three years.
Meisel heads into his senior year next fall with seven goals and 12 assists for 26 career points. He was 2-for-2 on penalty kicks this past season and had two game-winning goals.
