Alfond Rink, built in 1955 with the help of philanthropist Harold Alfond, is the home to the Men's and Women's ice hockey programs. The facility captures the character of an old building with exposed wood beams but has been consistently upgraded over the past 10 years. The 1,700-seat facility has state of the art refrigeration, sound and lighting systems. The seamless glass and boards system has enabled the facility to be considered one of the best in the country at the Division III level. Colby consistently offers reduced rental rates to the Waterville community in an effort to allow the community access to this outstanding complex.
