Colby golf teams wins CBB Tournament

LEWISTON, MAINE --

Greg Dupuy (Northern Highlands/Allendale, N.J.) took medallist honors with an 80 to help the Colby College golf team win the CBB Tournament over Bates College and Bowdoin College on Saturday.

First-year golfer Dave Salmon (Noble & Greenough/Sherborn, Mass.) was second overall with an 81 for Colby.

The Mules won the tourney with a score of 337. Bowdoin finished second with 345 and Bates had 356. Matt Aschaffenburg (Sharon/Sharon, Mass.) added an 86 for Colby. Steve Planas had a 91 and Jake Hobart shot a 92 for Colby's other top scorers.

The Mules will host the Colby Classic at the Waterville Country Club on Sunday at noon. Bates, Bowdoin, Thomas College and Maine-Farmington will be the other teams in the tourney.
