WATERVILLE, Maine --
Senior center Sarah Walsh (Seton Keough/Catonsville, Md.) had 14 of her game-high 20 points after halftime and added 15 rebounds and four steals to lead Colby College to a 74-63 non-conference win over Emmanuel College in a battle of unbeaten teams Saturday at Wadsworth Gymnasium.
Colby heads into the semester break with a 5-0 record, while Emmanuel falls to 4-1. The Saints were preseason ranked 13th in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) national poll and were currently ranked 25th in the D3hoops.com poll.
Senior forward Christine O'Donnell (Salem/Salem, Mass.) also had a double-double with 10 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and six steals. Senior point guard Bianca Belcher (Lewiston/Lewiston, Maine) had 13 of her 17 points in the second half, while senior guard Drea DeAngelo (Sycamore/Cincinnati, Ohio) had 10 points and four assists. Junior forward Caitlin Bourque (North Middlesex/Townsend, Mass.) came off the bench and had eight points and four rebounds.

Lon Tega Morris (LaSalle Academy/Providence, R.I.) led Emmanuel with 17 points and nine rebounds despite playing just 21 minutes because of foul problems. Julia Demirer (Walkersville/Frederick, Md.) added 13 points and six rebounds.
Colby plays again against Elmira College in the opening round of the Salem State Tournament on December 29 at 2 p.m.
