Colby golf takes eighth at NESCAC tourney
MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -
First-year golfer Stephen Planas (Rockland District/Rockland, Maine) had a two-day total of 162 for the Colby College men's golf team at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Golf Championships on Saturday and Sunday.
Colby finished in eighth place in the 10-team tournament with a score of 662 points. Middlebury won the championship with a 613.
Junior Greg Dupay (Northern Highlands/Allendale, N.J.) and Dave Salmon (Noble & Greenough/Sherborn, Mass.) both had a 166 over two days for the Mules.
