Tufts men's basketball gets past Mules

MEDFORD, Mass. --

Tufts University scored 51 points in the first half on the way to an 89-71 victory over Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference men's basketball Saturday.

Mike McGlynn had 19 points, while Reggie Stovell finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds for Tufts (11-10, 5-2 NESCAC).

Andrew Jenkins (Gorham/Gorham, Maine) paced Colby (6-14, 2-6) with 14 points. Nate Dick (Bishop Freehan/North Attleboro, Mass.) shot 3-for-5 from 3-point range and had 11 points for the Mules. Michael Westbrooks (Berkshire School/Dublin, Ireland) added 10 points.

Colby will play host to Maine-Maritime in a non-league game Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
