Colby men's hockey routs Wesleyan

WATERVILLE, Maine --

Nick Bayley (Cambridge, Ontario) had three goals and one assist to power Colby College to a 7-0 victory over Wesleyan University in men's hockey at Alfond Arena on Friday night.

Patrick Walsh (Easton, Conn.) added one goal and three assists for the 14th-ranked Mules (11-3-1), who will play ninth-ranked Trinity College on Saturday at 4 p.m. Ross MacMillan (Charlottetown, PEI) and Joel Morash (Liverpool, N.S.) both had one goal and one assist for the winners. Jay Goebel (New Canaan, Conn.) and Kevin Lyons (Canton, Mass.) both had two assists, while Barry Brown (Souris, PEI) had the first goal of the night for Colby.

Colby goalie J.D. Hadiaris (Saco, Maine) had to make just 12 stops for the shutout. Wesleyan (4-10-2) goalie Jim Panczkowski made 45 saves.
