No. 10 Colby men's hockey dumps No. 9 Bowdoin

WATERVILLE, Maine --

Junior forward Brian Chisholm (King, Ontario) had a goal and two assists as the Colby College men's hockey team scored the final four goals of the game in taking a 4-1 win over rival Bowdoin College at Alfond Arena on Tuesday night.

The 10th-ranked Mules improved to 14-4-1 overall, while ninth-ranked Bowdoin fell to 12-5-2. This was not a conference game.

Colby's five seniors went unbeaten at home against Bowdoin in their four years, finishing 3-0-1 at Alfond Arena.

J.D. Hadiaris (Saco, Maine) made 26 saves for the Mules, including 21 stops in the final two periods.

Cory Ernst (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia) had a goal and an assist for the Mules. Judd Moldaver (Toronto, Ontario) chipped in with two assists. Ross MacMillan (Charlottetown, PEI) and Kevin Lyons (Canton, Mass.) had the other goals for Colby.

After a scoreless first period, Bowdoin did take a 1-0 lead 2:49 into the second period off a goal from Jared Porter (Duxbury, Mass.). Ernst scored at 9:50 and then MacMillan got the eventual game-winning goal at 13:02.

The Mules play host to Salem State this Friday at 7 p.m.
