Men's hockey blanks St. Anselm, 7-0
MANCHESTER, N.H. --
Cory Ernst had three goals and one assist as the Colby College men's hockey team took a 7-0 victory over Saint Anselm College on Saturday.
The Mules (2-0), who have scored 14 goals in their first two games, led 2-0 after a period and 4-0 after two periods.
Nick Bayley had two goals and now has four goals and four assists in just two games. Brian Chisholm added one goal and two assists for the Mules, while Brock Barton and Sean O'Grady each had two assists. Ross MacMillan had one goal and one assist for Colby and Patrick Walsh and Kevin Lyons both had one assist.
Senior goalie J.D. Hadiaris had 14 saves to post his first collegiate shutout for Colby.
