Colby men's lacrosse holds off Keene State
LEWISTON, Maine --
Ryan Glennon (Exeter, N.H.) had one goal and three assists to pace the Colby College men's lacrosse team to a 9-7 victory over Keene State in a non-conference game Tuesday at Bates College.
Joshua Cleaver (Kennett Square, Pa.) added three goals and Conor Cooper (Reading, Mass.) had two for the Mules (2-5). Matt Roland (Somers, Conn.), Ben Winston (Golden, Colo.) and Trenholm Boggs (Arlington, Va.) also tallied for Colby.
Junior goaltender Matthew LaPaglia (Upper Montclair, N.J.) had 16 saves for the victory.
Colby only led 8-7 with about five minutes left in the final quarter and got its insurance goal with just two seconds left.
The Mules will play a New England Small College Athletic Conference game at Tufts University at 1 p.m. Saturday.
