Trinity men's soccer stops Colby

HARTFORD, Conn. --

Junior goalkeeper Matt Doherty had the shutout and John Klaus scored two goals in the first half as the Trinity College men's soccer team earned a 4-0 victory over Colby College on Saturday in New England Small College Athletic Conference action.

Colby (3-1, 1-1 NESCAC) had not allowed a goal in the first three games of the season. Trinity improved to 2-1-1 with the victory.

The Mules will play in their home opener on Saturday, September 28, at 11 a.m. against Middlebury College.
