Colby men's tennis starts trip with victory
HILTON HEAD, S.C. --
The Colby College men's tennis team got the spring trip to South Carolina off to a fine start with an 8-1 victory over Taylor University on Monday.
Colby senior John McManigal (Santa Barbara/Santa Barbara, Calif.) won at first singles and also joined forces with Rich Cook (Lincoln-Sudbury/Sudbury, Mass.) to win at second doubles.
Marc Kassin (Mt. Greylock/Williamstown, Mass.), Steen Sehnert (Summit/Summit, N.J.), Tim Stenovec, Ben Crane (Blake School/Edina, Minn.) and John Fallon (Nashoba/Northboro, Mass.) also won singles matches for the Mules (1-3).
Kassin and Fallon won at third doubles for Colby, which meets Luther College on Tuesday.
