Colby men's tennis easily beats Southern Maine
WATERVILLE, Maine --
The Colby College men's tennis team won for the fifth time in the last six matches in taking a 6-1 victory over University of Southern Maine on Wednesday.
Tim Stenovec (Ojai, Calif.) went three sets to win at third singles for Colby (5-4). Rich Cook (Sudbury, Mass.) won at second singles and Ben Crane (Edina, Minn.) improved to a team-best 7-2 in singles play with a win at the fourth spot. John Fallon (Northboro, Mass.) and Kevin Yardi (Santa Barbara, Calif.) also won singles matches for the Mules.
Fallon and Marc Kassin (Williamstown, Mass.) improved to 7-1 in doubles play this year with a victory at the second spot.
Colby will play host to Trinity College at 4 p.m. Friday.
