Colby softball loses two to St. Joseph's
WATERVILLE, Maine --
St. Joseph's College needed eight innings to win the first game and then kept an early lead in the second game in taking 4-3 and 5-2 victories over Colby College in non-conference softball Saturday at Crafts Field.
St. Joseph's moved to 10-8 this season, while Colby fell to 7-10.
The Monks scored three unearned runs in the first inning of the opener when Colby committed three errors. The Mules got two runs back in the bottom of the first inning on an RBI single by Wendy Bonner (Lexington, Mass.) and on unearned run.
