Men's basketball holds off Maine-Farmington
FARMINGTON, Maine --
Andrew Jenkins (Gorham/Gorham, Maine) came off the bench with 19 points and Patrick McGowan (North Attleboro/North Attleboro, Mass.) had 18 points and six rebounds to lead the Colby College men's basketball team to an 80-76 win over University of Maine-Farmington on Thursday night.
Kevin Crosman (Morse/Bath, Maine) added 10 points, nine rebounds and three assists for Colby (2-6). Jared Cushman (Cony/Augusta, Maine) finished with 14 points and five rebounds for the winners.
Jenkins was 7-for-12 from the field, including 3-for-3 from 3-point range, and also had four rebounds in 22 minutes of action.
