Colby volleyball improves to 12-3
FARMINGTON, MAINE --
The Colby College volleyball team improved to 12-3 this season with a 3-0 victory over University of Maine at Farmington on Wednesday night.
The Mules took a 30-8, 30-7, 30-18 victory behind senior captain Laurel Burnham (Gilbraltar/Baileys Harbor, Wis.), who had 20 assists and six service aces.
Junior captain Alyssa Henley (St. George's/Spokane, Wash.) and sophomore Mary Hill (Minnechaug/Wilbraham, Mass.) both had six kills. First-year players Jennifer Radcliffe (South Eugene/Eugene, Ore.) and Kaitlin Adams (Athol/Athol, Mass.) each had five kills.
Cait Cleaver (Unionville/Kennett Square, Pa.), the Co-NESCAC Player of the Week for last week, and junior Johanna Schroeder (Salmon/Salmon, Idaho) had four kills apiece in limited time.
Colby plays at the Williams Invitational this Friday and Saturday.
