Wesleyan wins battle of NESCAC unbeatens

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. --

Shaleen Bowman had 14 points and teammate Kamica Lewis finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds as the Wesleyan women's basketball team took a 62-52 victory over Colby College in NESCAC play Friday night.

Wendy Bonner had 15 points and 10 rebounds for Colby (10-4, 2-1 NESCAC). Sarah Walsh finished with 13 points and nine rebounds, while Bianca Belcher had seven points and seven rebounds.

Wesleyan improved to 15-1 overall and 3-0 in the league.

Colby is at Connecticut College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
