Williams breaks away for win over Colby

ORLANDO, Fla. --

Williams College scored seven goals in the final six minutes of the opening half to break away from a 4-4 tie on the way to a 16-5 victory over Colby College in women's lacrosse Wednesday at the Disney Sports Complex in Florida.

Sarah Burlingham (Radnor/Radnor, Pa.) and Cara Dionisi (St. Mark's School/Sudbury, Mass.) both had two goals for the 14th-ranked Mules (2-2). Kelsey Neville (Duxbury/Duxbury, Mass.) had one goal and one assist.

Anna Schierberl Scherr (Berwick Academy/Portsmouth, N.H.) had 15 stops for Colby.

Goals-Assists (Colby only): Sarah Burlingham 2-0, Cara Dionisi 2-0, Kelsey Neville 1-1, Ally King 0-1, Amanda Epstein 0-1.
