Union baseball takes games from Mules
CLEARWATER, Fla. -
Union College scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out a 10-9 victory over Colby College in the opening game of a doubleheader Sunday.
Union also took a 5-1 victory in the second game.
Travis Agustin (Pearl City, Hawaii) had three hits, including a triple, and three RBI for Colby (1-3). B.L. Lippert (Augusta, Maine) had a double among his two hits and Tom Salemy (Odessa, Fla.) added a pair of singles.
In the second game, Salemy had a home run and a single.
Colby has Monday off before playing a doubleheader with Middlebury College at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Florida.
