Southern Maine baseball takes win over Colby
WATERVILLE, Maine --
University of Southern Maine scored nine runs in the first three innings on the way to a 13-2 non-conference victory over Colby College in baseball Wednesday.
Brandon Brewer (Cumberland, Maine) homered among his two hits, scored twice and drove in three runs for Southern Maine (15-8). Brian Marshall (Danvers, Mass.) added two hits and three runs scored, while Adam Lemieux (Cumberland, Maine) went 3-for-4.
Josh Armandi pitched the first six innings to earn the win for the Huskies.
Eric Roy (Lisbon Falls, Maine) doubled and Tyler Hales (Lexington, Mass.) had two hits for Colby (3-21).
