Cross country teams compete at NE Championships
BOSTON, Mass. --
Karina Johnson finished in 45th place for the Colby College women's cross country team at the New England Cross Country Championships at Franklin Park.
Johnson finished in a time of 18 minutes, 48 seconds to help the Mules finish in 21st place out of 41 women's teams. Jess Minty took 69th place in 19:04, while Mary Phelps was 126th with a time of 19:39.
The Colby men placed 27th out of 47 teams and were led by Nat Brown, who took 96th place in 26:14. Jeff Alden took 125th place in 26:33 and Eric Reinauer was 140th in 26:41.
The New England Championships had Division I, II and III schools competing in the same meet.
