Colby's Brown runs at NCAA Division III meet

HANOVER, Ind. --

Colby College senior runner Nat Brown (Wellesley/Wellesley, Mass.) placed 172nd out of 215 finishers at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Hanover College.

Brown had a time of 27 minutes, 41.8 seconds over the 8-kilometer course. Wartburg College's Josh Moen won the men's race in 24:34.4.

Brown made the NCAA meet for the fourth straight year after placing 15th at the New England Regional Cross Country Championships last weekend. Brown also earned NESCAC All-Conference First Team honors for placing fifth at the league meet. Besides those two strong finishes, Brown also won the Maine State men's title.
