No. 19 Colby loses in overtime to No. 16 Williams

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -

Becca Kiselewich scored in overtime to lift the 16th-ranked Williams College field hockey team to a 2-1 win over 19th-ranked Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Sunday.

Williams improved to 7-1 overall and 4-1 in league play, while Colby fell to 7-2 overall and 3-2 in the NESCAC.

Crista Petrelli gave Williams a 1-0 lead with about two minutes left to halftime off a penalty corner.

Colby tied the game at 1-1 about six minutes into the second half when Melissa Mullen scored her first collegiate goal on a penalty corner off an assist from Lauren Smith.

Colby goaltender Molly Rice finished with nine saves.

The Mules will play host to Amherst College this Saturday at 11 a.m.
