No. 19 Colby field hockey falls to No. 6 Middlebury

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -

Middlebury came back from a 2-0 first half deficit to pick up a 3-2 NESCAC win over Colby. The Panthers trailed early, but controlled a majority of the game, outshooting their opponent's, 45-6 on the day.

Molly Rice made a school-record 36 saves in the game for Colby. The old record was 33 set in 1995 by Rachel Simson.

Wendy Bonner got her 10th goal of the season for Colby. Michaelyn Bortolotti also tallied for the Mules (6-1).
