Babson takes win over Colby men's basketball

BABSON PARK, Mass. --

Phil Riffe had 18 points and four assists to lead four Babson College players in double figures on the way to an 89-54 victory over Colby College in non-conference men's basketball Tuesday night.

CJ Enere added 15 points on 6-for-7 shooting for Babson (2-1), which shot 54 percent from the field.

Patrick McGowan had 18 points and three steals for Colby (1-2). Nate Dick chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.

Colby will host the Maine Event Tournament this Friday and Saturday at Wadsworth Gymnasium. The Mules play Southern Maine on Friday at 7 p.m. Husson and St. Joseph's play at 5 p.m. in the first game.
