Colby men's lacrosse defeats NEC in Portland

PORTLAND, Maine --

Mike Haimes scored two goals and added two assists in leading the Colby College men's lacrosse team to a 6-2 non-conference win over New England College on Wednesday night at Portland's Fitzpatrick Stadium.

Joshua Cleaver had two goals, while Tim Brown and Tucker Kelton both had one goal.

Matt LaPaglia stopped 13 shots for Colby (8-3).
