Colby men's soccer gets tie with Trinity
WATERVILLE, Maine --
Colby College scored the first two goals of the game only to see Trinity College battle back for a 2-2 tie in New England Small College Athletic Conference men's soccer play Saturday.
Brian Kelly (Milford, Mass.) scored the only goal of the first half off an assist from Chris Rogers (Atlanta, Ga.) just 3:35 into the game.
Kelly picked up his third assist of the season when Ryan Boccuzzi (Storrs, Conn.) scored his fifth goals of the season about 15 minutes into the second half for the Mules (2-0-1, 1-0-1 NESCAC).
Trinity (1-1-2, 1-1-1) forward Christopher Fryxell (Windsor, Conn.) got a goal and an assist in leading the Bantams back. Fryxell scored off a pass from Timothy Cross (Marblehead, Mass.) about three minutes after Colby went up 2-1. He then added an assist on the tying goal by Jeff Hodge (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) a few minutes later.
