Colby volleyball wins own invite with 4-0 record
WATERVILLE, Maine --
Kimberly Prescott (Buena Park, Calif.) and Cait Cleaver (Kennett Square, Pa.) each made the all-tournament team for the Colby College volleyball team as the Mules won the Colby Invitational with a 4-0 record on Saturday at Wadsworth Gymnasium.
The Mules are 6-0 this year and have not lost a game.
Prescott had 35 assists, nine service aces and five kills in a 3-0 victory over Maine-Machias and had 39 assists and 10 aces against Gordon College in another 3-0 win. Cleaver had 14 kills against Gordon.
Alyssa Henley (Spokane, Wash.) and Liz Wyckoff (Canton, N.Y.) both had eight kills against Maine-Machias, while Kaitlin Adams (Athol, Mass.) had nine aces and six kills. Abbey Stella (Westfield, Mass.) had 10 kills against Gordon.
