Colby volleyball wins 10th match with victory over Bowdoin
WATERVILLE, Maine --
Kimberly Prescott (Buena Park, Calif.) finished with 49 assists, nine digs and four kills from her setter position to lead the Colby College volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Bowdoin College in a non-conference match Wednesday night.
The Mules (10-1) took a 30-15, 30-25, 22-30, 30-24 win against the Polar Bears (6-3).
Cait Cleaver (Kennett Square, Pa.) added 17 kills and 12 defensive digs for Colby. Megan Devlin (Branford, Conn.) had 13 kills and 11 digs, Johanna Schroeder (Salmon, Idaho) had 11 kills and captain Alyssa Henley (Spokane, Wash.) finished with 10 kills.
Bowdoin got 15 kills from sophomore Jessica Scholbohm (Santa Barbara, Calif.). Setter Bree Dallinga (Ardsley, N.Y.) had 38 assists and Julie Calareso (Coral Springs, Fla.) had 13 digs.
Colby plays in the MIT Invitational this Friday and Saturday. The Mules meet Wellesley in their first match at 6 p.m. Friday.
