Amherst women's hockey nips Colby, 3-2

WATERVILLE, Maine --

Amherst College sophomore forward Renee Sisti (Pomfret School/Coventry, Conn.) scored with 2:10 left in the game to lift the Lord Jeffs to a 3-2 victory over Colby College in women's hockey at Alfond Arena on Saturday.

Colby had fought back from a 2-0 deficit to tie the game when Heather DeVito (Arlington/Arlington, Mass.) scored with 7:27 left in the third period.

Rachel Simon (West Orange/West Orange, N.J.) and Alena Harrison (St. Mark's School/Westwood, Mass.) had first period goals for Amherst (4-5).

Michele Barmash (Deerfield Academy/Kirkland, PQ) had the other goal for the Mules (0-9).

Lindsay Grabowski (Stuart Country Day/Princeton, N.J.) stopped 25 shots for Amherst, while Alex Harris (Kingswood-Oxford/Windsor, Conn.) made 28 saves for Colby.
