Mules beat Camels in women's hockey
NEW LONDON, Conn. --

Colby College (2-12, 2-7) recorded a 3-1 victory over Connecticut College (4-12, 3-6) in NESCAC women's hockey action at Dayton Arena Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Kristin Putnam (Oakland, Maine) tallied a goal and an assist for the Mules. Kate Sweeney (Milton, Mass.) and Heather DeVito (Arlington, Mass.) added goals for Colby. Freshman Meaghan McLaughlin (Morris Plains, NJ) tallied her fourth goal of the season for Connecticut College.
Lynn Hasday (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) had 21 saves for Colby. Gabby Petrill (Greensburg, Pa.), the nation's leader in saves with 561 stops had 34 in between the pipes for Connecticut College.
