Conn College holds off Colby women's hockey
WATERVILLE, Maine --
Meaghan McLaughlin (Morris Plains, N.J.) scored all three goals and goalie Gabby Petrill (Greensburg, Pa.) made 29 stops as Connecticut College held on for a 3-2 victory over Colby College in women's hockey Friday at Alfond Arena.
McLaughlin had two goals in the opening period and then added the lone goal of the second period for a 3-0 Conn College (3-6) lead. Mallory Littman (Richboro, Pa.) had two assists for the Camels.
Colby, which had a 31-11 shot advantage, got one goal and one assist apiece from Michele Barmash (Kirkland, PQ) and Heather DeVito (Arlington/Arlington, Mass.).
