Middlebury women's hockey stops Colby

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. --

Emily Quizon had two goals and two assists to lift the Middlebury College women's hockey team to a 7-0 victory over Colby College on Saturday.

Lorna Gifis added two goals and one assist for fourth-ranked Middlebury (1-1).

Lynn Hasday stopped 36 shots for Colby (0-2), which will have its home opener this Tuesday against Southern Maine at 7 p.m.
