Bowdoin women's hockey fights off Colby, 4-0
WATERVILLE, Maine --
Marissa O'Neil (Kimball Union/Manchester, N.H.) had a pair of goals and Nathalie Morgan (New Hampton/Dieppe, New Brunswick) posted the shutout to lead fifth-ranked Bowdoin College to a 4-0 victory over Colby College on Tuesday night at Alfond Arena.
Bowdoin (15-3-1) led 3-0 after the opening period. Kelsey Wilcox (North Yarmouth/Cumberland, Maine) and Kate Leonard (Phillips Andover/Eliot, Maine) also tallied for the Polar Bears.
Morgan stopped 15 shots for the shutout. Lynn Hasday (South Side/Rockville Centre, N.Y.) played the final two periods for Colby and made 23 saves.
