Colby women's hockey loses to 8th-ranked Williams
WATERVILLE, Maine --
Molly Wasserman (Minnetonka, Minn.) had two goals and one assist to lead eighth-ranked Williams College to a 7-4 victory over Colby College on Saturday at Alfond Arena.
Abigail Taylor (Evanston, Ill.) and Ashley Wood (Duxbury, Mass.) each had one goal and two assists for the Ephs.
Colby senior Kate Sweeney (Milton, Mass.), playing in her final home game for the Mules, had one goal and one assist. Heather DeVito (Arlington, Mass.) gave Colby a 1-0 lead, but Williams tied the game at 11:53 on a goal by Wood and then scored three goals in the final 59 seconds of the opening period for a 4-1 intermission lead.
Lindsay Barada (New Canaan, Conn.) and Kit Hickey (Waltham, Mass.) also tallied for Colby. Christina Dotchin (Essex, Vt.), also playing her final home game, added an assist.
