Colby women's soccer falls to Middlebury
MIDDLEBURY, Vt. --
Middlebury came back from a 2-0 deficit to
pick up a 4-2 win over Colby in NESCAC action on Saturday.
Goals from Laura Williamson and Amanda Walsh gave the Mules a 2-0
lead less than 20 minutes into the game. Williamson now has five goals and four assists for 14 points this season. Brittany Cronin answered for the
Panthers with two goals in less than three minutes to knot the game at two.
Mayo Fujii took a cross from Caity Abshere at 55:45 and buried it into the
back of the net to give Middlebury a 3-2 lead. Cronin found Erin Pittenger
for the game's final goal at 75:36.
