Colby women's squash improves to 4-1

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --

Emilie Slack (Villanova, Pa.) went 3-1 at the second position to help the Colby College women's squash team go 3-1 at the Williams College Round Robin on Friday and Saturday.

Colby (4-1), ranked 11th in the last national poll, took wins over Mount Holyoke (7-2), Smith College (8-1) and Connecticut College (9-0). The Mules lone loss came to host Williams (9-0).

Julia Benedict (Dover, Mass.), Jen Barrett (Marion, Mass.), Cate Young (Lincoln, Mass.), Rachel Luskin (Scarsdale, N.Y.) and Allison Dunn (Tucson, Ariz.) also went 3-1 on the weekend. Nikki Patel (Avon, Conn.) had a 2-2 record at the first spot, as did Jenny Abramson (Lexington, Mass.) and Kate Dziedzic (Deerfield, Ill.).

Colby plays in the Amherst College Round Robin this Saturday and Sunday.
