Colby women's squash goes 2-1 at Amherst Invite
AMHERST, Mass. --
Rachel Luskin (Scarsdale, N.Y.) won all three of her matches in helping the Colby College women's squash team go 2-1 at the Amherst Invitational this past weekend.
Colby, ranked 11th in the last national poll and now 6-2 overall, took victories over Middlebury (5-4) and Mount Holyoke (6-3). The Mules fell 8-1 to host Amherst.
Julia Benedict (Dover, Mass.), Jen Barrett (Marion, Mass.), Cate Young (Lincoln, Mass.), Luskin and Allison Dunn (Tucson, Ariz.) won matches at the number three to seven spots in helping the Mules hold off Middlebury.
Benedict, Barrett, Luskin and Dunn also won matches against Mount Holyoke. Emilie Slack (Villanova, Pa.) and Jenny Abramson (Lexington, Mass.) were other Colby winners.
