Colby women's squash tops Tufts, 6-3
WATERVILLE, Maine --
The Colby College women's squash team won the first six positions on the way to taking a 6-3 victory over Tufts University on Friday night at the Alfond Athletic Center.
Emilie Slack (Villanova, Pa.) won at the first position for 13th-ranked Colby (8-7). Morgan Pratt (Stanfordville, N.Y.), Julia Benedict (Dover, Mass.), Maura Myers (McLean, Va.), Jennifer Barrett (Marion, Mass.) and Cate Young (Lincoln, Mass.) also won matches for the Mules. Benedict won a tough 3-2 match at the third spot.
Liz Thys (Larchmont, N.Y.), Joelle Polivy (Purchase, N.Y.) and Rhonda Barkan (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) won matches for 17th-ranked Tufts (5-5).
