Colby women's tennis falls to Bates
WATERVILLE, Maine --
Liz Currie (Yarmouth, Maine) won at second singles as Bates College took four of the six singles matches in taking a 5-4 victory over Colby College in women's tennis Wednesday.
Colby (0-3) continued to get solid play from first-year Allison Dunn (Tucson, Ariz.), who took a three set win over Tara DeVito (E. Hills, N.Y.) at first singles. Dunn then joined forces with Nikki Patel (Avon, Conn.) to win 9-8 (14-12 tiebreaker) at first doubles. Ginny Raho (Providence, R.I.) had the other singles win for Colby.
