Hughes keeps winning for Colby women's tennis
HILTON HEAD, S.C. --
Sara Hughes (South Burlington, Vt.) improved to 8-0 on the season for the Colby College women's tennis team with two more victories in the Mules' 7-2 loss to Middlebury College on Monday.
Hughes, the Co-NESCAC Player of the Year last year, is 4-0 in singles and 4-0 in doubles with Allison Dunn (Tucson, Ariz.) this spring. Hughes took a 6-4, 6-2 win over Jackie Ross at first singles. Dunn and Hughes then rolled to an easy 8-1 win at first doubles.
