Husson takes 9-5 win over Colby in baseball

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Husson College scored six runs in the final three innings to turn a 5-3 deficit into a 9-5 victory over Colby College in non-conference baseball Tuesday.

Barrett Dionne (Bangor, Maine) worked eight innings for the Husson victory.

Billy Kane (Bradford, Maine) and Adam Sheehan (Bucksport, Maine) both had two hits and two runs scored for Husson. Justin Spencer (Brewer, Maine) doubled and added a pair of runs scored for the winners.

Colby fell behind 3-0 after two innings, but fought back with two runs in the fifth inning and three in the sixth to go ahead 5-3. Nick Spillane (Darien, Conn.) had three hits and scored a run for the Mules. Roddy Ames (Cotuit, Mass.) added a pair of hits and a run scored, Andy Carr (Conway, N.H.) had two hits, and Steve Sandak (Stamford, Conn.) had a two-run single.
