COLBY WOMEN SIXTH, MEN 15TH AT ECAC CROSS COUNTRY MEET
GRAFTON, Mass. --- The Colby College cross country teams rested
most of their top runners at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC)
Meet, but both teams still had solid finishes Saturday.
The 16th-ranked Colby women finished in sixth place as Brianna
Tufts took 13th overall in 23:47 over the 6-kilometer course. Kirsten Davis
took 19th in 23:59, Shannon Burnham was 32nd in 24:49, and Sharon Fuller
placed 39th in 24:48. Coast Guard's Joellen Arons won the women's race in 22:50.
The Colby men placed 15th out of 34 teams. Michael Collins was
48th in 28:43 over the 8-kilometer course. Mike Walsh was 75th in 29:15.
Salem State's Fabian Mejia won the men's race in 26:27.
