Women's hockey player DeVito honored by NESCAC

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College's Heather DeVito (Arlington/Arlington, Mass.) was honored as New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending January 9.

DeVito, a senior forward, had one goal in a 2-0 victory at Connecticut College on Friday. She then added another goal in a 2-2 tie with Amherst College on Saturday.

DeVito leads the Mules with five goals and one assist for six points. She has five of Colby's 11 goals in a 3-3-1 start to the season. DeVito has made her goals count this season, with two others coming in a 2-1 win against Williams College in the season opener.

In 74 career games with the Mules, DeVito has 46 goals and 35 assists for 81 career points.
